Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ImDeveloper.link ("the Service", "we", "us") is a web-based platform that enables software developers to create, customize, and publish professional portfolio pages. Each user receives a public profile at imdeveloper.link/username, accessible to anyone on the internet.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Usernames are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that are inactive, misleading, or violate these Terms.
• You may not sell, transfer, or license your account to another person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host, distribute, or link to malware, phishing pages, or exploit kits.
• Impersonate another person, company, or organization.
• Publish content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or violates another party's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, create, or publish through the Service, including text, images, code snippets, and project descriptions. By publishing content on ImDeveloper.link, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and cache your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

This license terminates when you delete your content or your account. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property. We will not use your content for training machine learning models, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

6. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free — Basic portfolio features at no cost. Limited to 3 sections, no custom CSS, no analytics.
• Pro ($7/month) — Unlimited sections, custom CSS, analytics dashboard, SEO controls, snapshots, webhooks, and watermark removal.
• Business ($19/month) — Everything in Pro plus custom domain support, public API access, and priority support.

All paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Upon cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.

Refunds are available within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods. Contact us at [email protected] to request a refund.

7. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, apply updates, or modify features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through in-app announcements or email. We reserve the right to discontinue any feature or the entire Service with 30 days' notice.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. Upon termination, your portfolio will be unpublished and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ImDeveloper.link and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app announcement.
